~Sitekick Showdown~


What the showdown is:
- A new feature where 2 Sitekicks are randomly paired up and you vote on the one you like best. After you vote, 2 more will be displayed…and so on, and so on.

How the showdown works:

- Sitekicks are put into Divisions based on their SK-TV Rank. There are currently 6 Divisions: Unrated, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Amethyst, and Onyx.

- To be part of Showdown, you must have collected at least 1 Chip on a Collection List. The collections lists are the chips you check of every month

- When you first come to the Showdown page, a Division is randomly chosen for you. If you want to vote on Sitekicks in a different Division, just choose it from the Nav along the top.

- Voting is easy – just click on the ‘Vote’ button under the Sitekick's you think looks better. Or if you think they are equally good then just refresh the page to tie them.

- After you vote on a pair, the ‘Previous Match’ Stats for those 2 Members will be displayed at the bottom left of the page.

- To check out a Member’s stats, click on their Username. You’ll see the Rank they’re in and the number of wins, losses and draws (ties).

- Each Division has a Top Ten list (after you have voted once it appears at the bottom right of the page). In order to be considered for the Top Ten, a Member must have competed in 5 matches. This Top Ten is based on current stats – which means it’s constantly being updated!

- Top Ten is based on the Members percentage Stats. This number is not only based on number of matches won, it also takes into account the number of matches tied and lost.

- At the end of each month, the number one Member from each Top Ten will be announced the winner. They’ll be given a special ribbon that will be displayed on their Stats page. They’ll also be given a special Chip (Dr. Frantic will put it in their Dock for them – so they’ll need to make sure they have an empty slot!). All the Stats will then be erased so everyone gets a fresh start for the next month!

- If a Member moves up to a different Division during a month, they will carry their current Stats to the new Division.

- To move up in Rank, you need to collect Chips on the monthly Collection Lists. (To move from Unrated to Bronze you only need to collect 10 Chips!)

- You don’t need to be logged in to vote…however, being logged in might make it a little less random how often your own Sitekick comes up for you to vote on. ;)

Now you can *try* rule the SK Showdown! But hurry! Like we said, the percentage gets reset every month! :) Keep on Sitekicking!

ytv2003: Any chip on the collection list just one of them.Also at the end of the month ether me and hills or the ym's would make a topic on the winners.

Ytv - 1. We don't know what the chip is yet to be honest. We're just going to have to wait! ;)
2. The winners will be announced at the end of the month, they're the people in FIRST PLACE of each top 10 in each division

INDEED HARS. I do rather hop they will keep this opportunity open for him . In any case I don't know or not if they will be releasing the chip that you get inot the public. I don't think they will.
