Hey guys! Monster_man here just to tell you about some glitches you should look out for here in SK. This way you won't have too many problems with them.

Glitch #1 - Glitch Report Boards
The Glitch Report boards DO NOT currently support 'codes' eg. quotes, colour, code, bold, italic, strike.
I'm sure the yms will be fixing this soon :-D

Glitch #2 - TheMask
TheMask chip has a tendancy to not let your SK come through the data-stream. So you won't see your SK all the time when

TheMask chip is on. Simply just refresh your dock by clicking the "Main" button.

Glitch #3 - RudolphNose "Chip"
RudolphNose DOES have a small dot on the "chip". It is just an accidental dot in the flash file. An easy fix, please just ignore it for now.

Glitch #4 - Chips won't show up!
This is a very common glitch. And there is 1 simple answer. There is a maximum of 22 chips alloud in the dock. Although, if you "Overlap" (tutorial coming.. NEVER) you will pass the limit. So once you have passed 22 chips, the newest chip in your dock (I believe the highest number, or the most recently added chip) will not show up. So please try to not overlap

Glitch #5 - Camera
I know there are lots of problems with camera. Why? Probably because it takes a lot of work to go from a flash object, into the coding of your avatar on the forums... So, you might experiance the following:

-a new avatar saying "Snapshot Failed" (Just wait, it will be restored shortly)
-Error message (in the works of being fixed, i'm sure!). Ignore this message. Just go back to ytv.com. You should be thankful, your camera chip won't dump because of it :-O
-Switching avatar; This is temporary, your avatar will alternate between your old avy & your new one. Please ignore it.
It will stay at the new avatar after a few hours (or less).

Glitch #6 - The Chipendium
The Chipendium also has quite a few glitches.
These include:

-No images when you select a chip (dr.f is working on this)
-Strange names.. (PhoenixTail, Director's Chair, BFPM6_01 X2) These are quite strange, and I'm not sure if dr.f knows about them yet. (PhoenixTail = Phoenix, Director's Chair = EdWood & for some reason there are 2 BFPM6_01's, one should be BFPM6_02
-Mixed chip names/images. If you are scrolling through the pages of the chipendium, sometimes the chips will be mixed up with different names. Just close and re-open the chipendium to fix.

NOTE: You can't always trust Chipendium ratings (legendary, rare.. etc) because for some reason, some chips will appear legendary after you view a legendary chip, or vice-versa.

Glitch #7 - Firefox + Sitekick
I have noticed that with several users, there have been server errors and such while trying to get chips. This might be because of Firefox. I don't understand completely why this happens, but I'm sure dr.f could fix it! In the mean time, try using internet Explorer. If your a Mac user, maybe ask a friend to get it for you :-)

Glitch #8 - Trades
The trades can be quite glitchy at times. Sometimes you can not offer on a chip, or it freezes. Here are some glitches:
-Accepting is slow. This is sometimes caused because of a high ammount of offers. Either that or the internet is slow (or there are lots of people on sitekick). There is not much I can help you with, but just keep trying!
-Not being able to offer. This happens a lot, if it freezes, refresh the dock (it works for me :-) )

Glitch #9 - Colour Change
I know a fair ammount of users who lose their colour change. I have no clue why this happens, but the only pratical and non-monsterous way of getting it back is beating the saga.
Now.. if you are my friend, and have another way of talking to me.. You might be able to get it back Monsterously! hehehe

Glitch #10 - No Sitekick, only the chip
This is a common glitch, it happens when you have recently opened your c-list and closed it before it could load. Or you just removed a chip from trades. All that happens is you can only put 1 chip on your sitekick. And when it's on, you can't see your Sitekick, only the 1 chip. To fix, please refresh the page.

Glitch #11 - Shakey Chips
We all know about the shakey chips... StarryTopper, Glass, RadioActive and a few others. It's only a sync problem with the sitekick I believe. I'm not so sure. There is nothing that can be done, we just need to wait for dr.f to fix it.

Glitch #12 - Trades
When you hover over your chip in trades, sometimes there will be say. 1 offer. You check offers, and you can't see it. This is because someone declined the trade and it hasn't refeshed. Sometimes it can be fixed by waiting for a few days.

Another problem with trades, is when someone has achieved a rank of amythyst, they will show up in trades as bronze (amy rank [1-5]). What I mean by show up, is you check who offered a chip on your chip. This can't be fixed by us, just dr.f/SK Team :D

And here are some little pointers.

-All sitekicks have a bratty attitude! When you make a sitekick, it will always go to bratty.
-If the dock seems slow, try going to www.ytv.com/sitekick/dock.swf, it tends to be faster at times.
-If the dump won't load, use the Arrow keys to refresh <-- -->

Glitch #5 - Camera

-a new avatar saying "Snapshot Failed"

Once u click on the camera and it leads u to a certain page, click on your "Snapshot Failed" avatar with the right side of your mouse and then click on refresh. Chances are, your avatar pic will return to normal. (This solution has worked for my avatar)
